I received a qoute the other day for a new JD 4600 with MFWD, 12/12 Power Reverser, fixed ROPS, R4 Industrial tires, dual SCV, JD 460 loader with 73" HD bucket. Cash price came to $21,775. Is this in the ball park? I also got a price on JD forklift frame and tines for $830 and a 65" Woods SR10 box scraper for $1200.The dealer said the 4600 with MFWD is only avalible in the Power reverser and Hydro. Is this true? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I got my quote a couple of weeks ago for a unit he had on the lot.Loader wasn't yet installed. Can't answer for sure about the MFWD without powrReverser but that doesnt' sound right to me. Prices your getting are couple hundred lower for the tractor (Mine is $22,000 for tractor and loaderwithout tax and dual SCV)Prices quoted:4600 with PowrReverser,R4's loaded with antifreeze = $18,600460 Loader = $3,400add the fork blades = $79074" Tiller = $1795 (not JD, Bush Hog brand I think)2 Bottom Plow = $475 unknown brandRear Scrape Blade = $700 (not JD Bush Hog brand I think)5' Bush Hog Brand Rotary Cutter = $890Canopy = $375 (my wife likes this)Total (with tax) $27,290.25David ....

Rather than filling the R4s with antifreeze, try windshield washer fluid. Abouta fourth the price....and much easier on the environment if you get a leak. Thedifference in density is small. ....

I'm buying a 4600, 4x4, 12/12 hydro w/ 460/73"hd loader, 48 backhoe, R-4's, folding ROPS, 3-scv. Tractor's been on demo and has 60+- hoursPrice= $28,200 plus taxI don't think I could of found a better price in region (VT, dearler is 1 mile from house and has been very accommodating. Hope this helps. ....

I paid $21,555.00 for the exact sameset up in northern Minnesota back in Jan. and another $6,700.00 for the model 48 backhoe, $445.00 for the # 45 rear blade I guess no matter where you co they have it pretty close on prices so your best off looking for service and convience. My dealer has been great and I'm glad I bought where I did a AG dealer with great service. ....
